How to Beat Food Poisoning – Yes, You Can!

I recently traveled for work and got a raging case of food poisoning. I know… ironic, right? I always travel with charcoal capsules and chewable papaya enzymes, which saved me that first night. What have you used in situations like this?

By the next day I already felt back in the game! I also drank herbal bitters for my tummy and then I was ready to enjoy the raw oyster bar at the costal living tent at the Boston Pops Cottage hospital event in Nantucket. Raw oysters are loaded with B vitamins and omega fatty acids, both nutrients are destroyed when you cook it. I added a lot of horseradish to prevent another round of food poisioning 😉

So the next time you travel (or anytime you leave the house to eat!), be sure to keep charcoal capsules and chewable papaya enzymes handy. You never know when you may need them!
