Whey, Blueberry and Flaxseed Protein Shake

Ingredients:

*   2 scoops of protein powder

*   2 tbsp. ground flaxseed

*   ½ cup of organic blueberries

*   1/16 tsp (2 to 4 drops) stevia or ½ tsp coconut sugar

*   1 cup of almond, rice, or low fat milk

*   1 tbsp. raw almond or cashew butter

*   ½ cup ice

Preparation:

1.    Whiz all the ingredients together in a blender and enjoy.

2.    This would make a great breakfast, or you could have it as a snack.

    So awesome! I bought all of the ingredients at Trader Joes and made the shake today. Never had anything with flax seed, almond butter and rice milk before….but I have to say this was a wonderful (flavorful and filling) breakfast. Thanks for posting!

    This is officially my favorite shake! It is perfect after my early morning run to help with muscle recovery and maintaining a natural energy throughout the day! Delish! (Also yummy with raspberries)
